With the flip flopping of Julien, it's too bad the B's and Habs don't have another game this season. I think that coaching move will definitely inject some emotion back into the best rivalry in hockey. |

The NHL should try getting a team in Milwaukee and the rivalry they'll have with the Wild would be great. |

He has a different opinion than you? How dare he?
Teams that haven't done much don't typically have huge rivalries. So if you're a fan of one of them you pick a big team near you to hate and get excited for it. I would know, I'm a Wild and Vikings fan. |

I don't even think the Pittsburgh would consider the Blue Jackets their #1 rival, no less the biggest rivalry in the sport.
Rangers have knocked them out of playoffs 2 out of last 3 years. I am sure they consider them a pretty big rival. |

It is up there I'd go with that. Flyers/Pens flaming out for the time being only due to the flyers sucktitude. Hopefully it turns around. CBJ needs to do something in the postseason to be considered a rival to anyone. Sharks/kings is a good one |

Best rivalry?
Leafs fans... And their bi-polar nature. |

It's definitely the Blue Jackets right now. The Flyers will always be up there, but the Pens and Jackets having been going back and forth all season, and could meet in the playoffs. And there's this guy...

I don't get to watch much west coast hockey, but the Ducks-Preds series last year was some extremely entertaining hockey |

I loved the old sens/leafs rivalry, it died off over the years, but I agree that it should be back soon. |

They met in 2014, and games have been contentious since then.
As for the Flyers... they're still rivals with the Pens, and always will be - obviously. However, PIT/CBJ games have been more heated than PIT/PHI games this season. If we're talking overall, then PIT/PHI without a doubt. |

Seriously? This might be the most ridiculous hotstove ever, and Tanner didn't contribute, how is that possible? I mean, biggest rivalry in the NHL question, and they can't even come up with opponents who are clealy each other's biggest rivals? |
